Dear friends and colleagues, ladies and gentlemen:

We are pleased at meeting each of you and are hoping for good partner relationships.

Yuri P. Semenov

The road into space has been laid out in the last century: the first artificial Earth satellite, the first flights of human beings into space, and missions of the first automatic spacecraft.

The MIR orbital complex is the most outstanding achievement in astronautics in the 20th century. This unique space structure has been in service to mankind for many years. The space station has become a proving ground for new ideas, progressive technologies and advanced principles for working in space.

More than 20 thousand scientific experiments have been conducted aboard MIR under the auspices of Russian and international programs during the 14 years the station has been in operation. The station has been visited by more than a hundred cosmonauts and astronauts from fifteen different countries of the world. And it has been a hospitable home for all of them.

The experience gained in the work aboard the MIR station has proved invaluable in the development of the International Space Station.

The reliability and accuracy of the engineering approaches included in the development of the station have stood the test of time.

The resources the MIR orbital complex has to offer are far from exhausted. Continuing the operation of the station will open up new opportunities for the use of space for the good of people everywhere.

Now, as a result of the establishment of the company MirCorp, the MIR station is being opened up fully to commercial use by any potential users. The MirCorp company page will tell you about the history, achievements and value of the specific capabilities of the space station. We hope to find people among you who share our views on the conquest of space, and we would like for all of you to get to know this amazing new world.

Best wishes,
